All new to you? HyperAction has been running community media projects in Wales for over ten years. We offer projects and activities in creative multimedia, designed with the needs of our community and education partners specifically in mind. We produce DVDs, interactive CD ROMs and web based media. We can do all this on your behalf or we can help you do it for yourselves. Activities include photography and image making, scripting and storytelling, animation, design work and movie-making. We provide all the equipment you need on site to ensure that every participant
has the opportunity to access the right media
tools for the job. Visit the project archive
to enjoy ten years working on media
projects with schools and the
community.

Blow the Whistle
is a short film made with young people aged 13 - 16 living on the Thompson Street Estate, a Communities First area in Barry, South Wales. We helped them plan, write, film and produce a DVD which is designed to counter some of the negative publicity their Estate is getting in the local area.

StoryWalks We are helping local people of all ages create walks around their communities, sharing stories as they go. We started making Storywalks with the villagers of Penderyn in RCT and then with Valeways in the Vale of Glamorgan. The Arts Council of Wales helped with a specialist training grant and now we are working with seven local authorities to help bring Storywalks to a community near you!
